Relaxation is here...

My relaxation is finally here...although it will be short lived. KeKe stayed with the sitter Thursday night and Friday night. It was really nice to be able to sleep until 8:30am this morning. I had told everyone last night I was going to sleep as long as I could, but I am an early bird, so 8:30am will be fine with me, Heck, it beats waking up at 6:00am like I normally do and plus there is no whiny 3 yr old to break my mood for a happy day. Don't get me wrong, I love my KeKe with all my heart but sometimes mommy just needs some time to herself.

Speaking of time to myself, Thursday I went to a scrapbooking class (which was free!) and I took our best friend's wife and her best friend. We made 3 cards and I loved it ALL! It was soooo what I needed for myself. Everyone knows me as being creative but I rarely have time to do anything creative. I took up scrapbooking several years ago...like while I was pregnant with KeKe and well, I never got to finish anything. I was really slow at it at first b/c I was so new at it and I am a perfectionist...so everything had to look perfect on the page or else I restarted the page. Now, when I get a few free moments, I enjoy working on my pages and I can usually get one page completed in a night...that's right, ONE PAGE! No, I am not slow...I just need it to be perfect. Yes, I know nothing is really perfect in life (except for my precious KeKe). Anyway, I may take up the craft of making cards now. It was easy and fast...a lot faster than scrapbook pages.

So, today before I pick up KeKe from the sitters, I have tons of laundry to get done. I have already picked up in her room and changed her bed sheets and now I have to do that in our bedroom and then I am done on the housework. It really is so much easier to pick up as it is messed up b/c once the tornado has hit inside this place...I don't want to touch nothing...I would just rather dump it all in a dumpster and start all over with our belongings. Sad but true!!! Can you tell I hate housework...I just feel it takes time away from my DH and KeKe. When I finish cleaning, I may do something crafty...I am in the mood! (sorry honey, not that mood...lol)
