KeKe's 4th Birthday Pics...sorry it took so long.

Sorry it's taken so long to post these. Hope you enjoy.

These are the cupcakes I made for her party. They were vanilla with vanilla frosting and chocolate frosting.
Then I added light pink sprinkles. Everyone loved the cupcakes!

This was the "goody bag" basket. I just wanted something that looked nice. Everyone thought this was a nice touch.

Decorating ideas needed...

I think I really need some help! I have a huge task to complete and I am not sure how to do it. You see, the place we are buying is freaking HUGE! There are 2 living rooms that I have no clue how how to decorate b/c my husband & I have very, very different ideas on decor. I like simple decor like country stuff. He likes more contemporary stuff. I don't know where to find the balance to make us both happy. I like a clean, feels-like-home feeling and he's more into straight lines. Then today, he takes me to JoAnn's fabrics & crafts...well, lets just say we didn't walk together much in the store b/c I liked the striped/flowered patterns and he was into...something. I didn't really like the ones he likes. He was looking at weird patterns and beach patterns. Who knows...

Anyway, I need help on ideas of what type of decor we can do. Most of the stuff we have is country. It's mainly stuff I had before we met (which tells you I may need to go shopping but I would love to keep the budget down). We thought about buying or making curtains and then decorating all the rooms at the new place around the new curtains. Do you think that's possible? It kinda scares me but I don't know what else to do. I am all out of options and ideas. Please HELP ME!!!

Speaking of the new place...we are being told that the closing should be around July 1st or 2nd (the 2nd is my bday...that would be a nice present) but guess what??? I haven't began to pack...anything!!! I really need some boxes first but they are hard to come by. Our grocery stores break them down to recycle and our ABC stores have small boxes...what a way to support alcohol lovers...yuk! Oh well! Oh, hope ya'll had a nice weekend.
