Another sad day...

We learned today that my mother-in-law's tumor has grown and another spot is showing on the MRI. She is meeting with more doctors tomorrow. It looks like after all the chemo she has been taking for the past year, it's not doing much to help her. At first it did but now it's not working at all. Not sure what other treatments are out there, but I hope they can give her soemthing. She is still being very faithful and I pray God helps her. She has had full faith in God since she got diagnosed last May. I know her trust in Him is what has kept her fighting so hard and I hope she never loses her trust in Him.

Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you all!!!

Pics & a prayer

Here are some recent pics we've taken. Also, my mother-in-law needs lots of prayers right now. She has been admitted to the hospital for an MRI due to the sensations on her left side have got worse. The doctors do believe that the tumor has began to swell again, we will know more tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers tonight. Thank you.

Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods: Cooler and very sunny. Our temps are finally back to the low 70s instead of the high 80s...NC weather is crazy!!!

One of my simple pleasures: a Mr. Goodbar!

On my bedside table: alarm clock, lamp and some papers, oh and tweezers.

On my t.v.: HGTV

What our menu will be tonight: leftovers

On my to-do list: LAUNDRY! I really am dreading this, which is why it didn't get done over the weekend. YUK!

New Recipe I tried last week: Pot roast in the crock-pot using cream of mushroom soup and an onion soup mix/packet. It was very good & creamy.

In the craft basket: FunFusion...KeKe is obsessed with doing this but I think she is still too young b/c she doesn't have the patience to finish one.

Looking forward to: my husband getting another job.

Homemaking tip for the week: purging toys when your child isn't home = no melt-downs! :-)

Lesson(s) learned the past few weeks: being a wife is REALLY hard work and I think it may be easier to be a mother than a wife.

On my prayer list: my MIL who is still fighting an aggressive brain tumor, my DH for his job search and my grandma B. who is struggling financially and isn't able to pay for all her meds.

Devotionals, Scriptures, and Key Verses: "However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband" Ephesians 5:33
